My trip is ending and I never made it to the places I wanted to the most. I was too self involved, too lazy, too depressed to make things happen.

I have disappointed myself...again. How depressing...

The Summer of Arlene

After all the bumps (literally, we are talking about a bed bug scare!), bruises (falling off bike :c), high stress levels, minimum wage and feeling lonely, I feel that this summer will be somewhat amazing. I have high spirits and a positive attitude which does not happen very often. Lets hope I stay that way.

I was fortunate enough to meet Spike and Caitlin from the original Degrassi Junior High. Fucking awesome!!!!!!!

Hello.

Hello. I've decided to revive this blog thanks to my wonderful friend Sadie. Reading Sadie's blog has inspired me, I would also like to thank Jessica's blog. Thank you!!!

Um, I don't really have anything else to write (yet). Portland trip is this Friday and i'm pretty excited. The sun is currently out, go figure! Maybe Vancouver has finally pulled out the winter pole from it's stubborn ass, it's time for another season called SPRING! Wooo...I think the warmish weather has infected my head, I have a sudden urge to clean clean clean...woah!

THINGS TO DO IN 2008:

- Move to Vancouver

- Volunteer at the SPCA

- Become active in the Queer Community

- Learn how to fix/repair/maintain bikes

- Join a gym or buy running shoes and well, RUN!

- Lose 10 kilos

- Apply for Canadian Visa

- Try to work 2 jobs (if possible)

- SAVE SAVE SAVE! I wouldn't mind a trip to Berlin

- A polaroid a day will keep the demons away.

- Diana+ anyone?!

- Learn how to create and maintain my own compost

- Try to busy myself by volunteering or joining environmental groups

- Read more

- Become more political. It's cool to know what's going on in the world.

- Take more photos.

- Be a better friend

- Be a better daughter

- Be a better aunty

- Improve my grammar and spelling

- It's a long shot, but how about my own radio show?

- Make and distribute my own 'zine

- Street art

- Call my parents at least once a month.

- Go back to San Fransisco and this time stay for at least a week!

- Craft more and possibly sell?
